ABOUT

Hello, and welcome to my site.
In the past seven years, I have been hired by LD Products, Ionic Media (representing Fortune 500 Companies), AIGA, Medial Teams International, Oregon State University (multiple departments), and various small businesses and individual clients in Portland and Los Angeles. I am primarily a graphic designer, but I also create website designs, branding schemes, logos and letterhead, mascots, and photomanipulations. Please see my resumé for more details about my work history and personal projects.

I graduated from Oregon State in Spring 2014, majoring in Graphic Design with
a minor in Art History. I've also studied Japanese for several years and loved it. My graphic design thesis project focused on the history of graphic design, and the importance of art history education to graphic design undergrads. I greatly admire the works of Jan Tschichold, Massimo Vignelli, Michael Heizer, Yoshitaka Amano, Christo and Jean-Claude, Mark Rothko, Fachang Muqi, Yoshitoshi ABe, Ridley Scott, Maya Lin, and Frank Herbert.

I live in Northeast Portland, I'm a dog person, I love bubble tea, and I have way too many favorite foods to count. I run a plush-toy business called Cute Cube, founded in 2011. When I'm not working on design, I enjoy museums, hiking, swimming, driving, PC gaming, drink tasting, writing, sewing, drawing, and cooking.

I am available for contract work in design, illustration, photography, branding, and craft, so feel free to contact me with project ideas.◼
